Your customer asks for €500,000 in credit.

Who decides whether they are worth it?

The Sales team looks at revenue.

The CFO looks at the exposure.

The Credit Manager looks at payment behaviour.

The Insurer looks at the risk it is being asked to take.

So, what does the broker look at? All of the above.

Not to make the decision on behalf of the business, but to help it make that decision with all the relevant information on the table.

Because granting €500,000 in credit means that someone is effectively financing your customer with €500,000.

And that someone is you.

→ With no interest charged
→ With no collateral
→ With the expectation that you will be paid at the end

That is why every sale on credit is not just a commercial decision. It is also a financing decision.

And the larger the credit exposure, the more important it becomes to understand:

→ Who you are extending credit to
→ Why you are extending it
→ And what you will do if you do not get your money back

My role is not to decide how much credit you should extend.

It is to help you understand exactly what the credit you choose to extend really means for your business.

If you want to understand the true impact of your credit exposure and explore the options available to manage it, send me an email. I will personally get in touch with you.
